THE SCRIPTURES The Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is inerrant and the final authority for life and doctrine (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21;1 Thess. 2:13).
THE GODHEAD We believe in one eternal God, manifested in three co-equal persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor.13:14; Duet. 6:4).
JESUS CHRIST We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and was both 100% God and 100% Man, and was born of the virgin Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:34-35; Phil. 2:6-7).
MAN, HIS FALL, AND SALVATION Man was created in God's image (Gen. 1:26-27). Adam, the first man, sinned and as a result brought physical and spiritual death into the world, as well as separation from God (Gen 3; Rom. 3:23; 3:10). Jesus Christ shed his blood and died for our sins. Three days later He was resurrected from the dead and is now at the right hand of the Father (1 Cor. 15:3-4; Heb. 4:14). Man's only way back to God is by believing in the works of Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for us all (Rom. 10:9-10). Salvation is a free gift, seperate from works, to all who believe (Eph. 2:8-10).
WATER BAPTISM Baptism is for believers only and is a sign of our identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection (Acts 8:36-39; Rom. 6:4).
SANCTIFICATION The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the Doctrine of Sanctification as a progressive work that started at salvation and continues till we meet the Lord (Heb. 12:14; 1 Thess. 5:23; 2 Cor. 3:18; Phil. 3:12-14;1 Cor.1:30).
HELL AND ETERNAL RETRIBUTION The one who dies without accepting Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior dies without his sins being taken care of. These sins keep them from fellowship with the Godhead and they are condemned forever to the Lake of Fire and have no further opportunity of repenting. The Lake of Fire is a literal place and is everlasting (Heb. 9:27; Rev.19:20; 20:10-15).
DIVINE HEALING God still desires to and does heal today. His power comes through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands. Healing was provided by the atonement of Jesus Christ and is the privilege of every believer (James 5:14- 16;1 Peter 2:24; Isa. 53:5; Mark 16:18)
GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as listed in 1 Cor.12:7-11 still operate today for the salvation of the unbeliever and the edification of the believer.
